About Daffodil | |

|
Daffodil or Daffy is a spayed black female kitten. She is getting close to 5 months old as of September 2016 and is an outgoing kitten who wants to meet everyone, including other cats. Daffy is the last of her litter to be adopted, but hanging around her foster mom’s house while she waits for the perfect forever home suits her just fine because she gets to play with her foster mom’s adult cats all day! Daffy is a playful and cuddly girl with people and other cats. She loves to rough house with the more energetic cats and take naps with the lazier ones. Daffodil has great social skills with other kitties and cleverly avoids her foster mom's super grumpy cat while easily engaging other more social cats. Even though she is tiniest kitty in the house, Daffy is quickly becoming the queen bee.
Daffodil loves any toy but especially loves the rolling balls in the plastic tracks. She often manages to get the ball out of the track and carry it around in her mouth. Daffy likes to sit on shoulders and nuzzle under your neck, gives kisses, and wants to be the center of attention. Daffy is completely litter box trained, very social, talks for attention, and likes to be brushed. Daffodil has also decided she loves the computer since she watches aquarium videos on it and will try to “help” you when at the computer. Daffy can be a little loud at adoptions as she complains about being alone in a tiny cage. But try giving her some attention and cuddles to see if she’s the perfect kitty for you.
Daffy was rescued as a stray when she showed up with her mom and 4 brothers and sisters at her foster mom’s feral colony feed station. It was quickly obvious that these friendly little kittens were no ferals. All of Daffodil’s siblings have been adopted but this sweet and energetic girl is still looking for her forever home."
Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato. Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org If you can't wait until then to meet any cat or kitten, contact catinfo@catalesrescue.org.
