Kit Kat is a very affectionate seven year old cat. She is a love bug and just full of love. Kit Kat loves to explore the house, but after her exploration, she wants to be on your lap. As she is relaxing on your lap, her motor will start going. She is a very low key cat and well behaved that will make a wonderful companion.
When we were contacted by the shelter that the owner surrendered her, we picked her up and put her in a foster home. The foster wrote notes on everything Kit Kat did. When she noticed that Kit Kat was struggling with urination and she even peed all over herself behind the couch. We knew this was not normal and took her to the emergency vet immediately. She had over 30 stones in her bladder which the vet said she had never seen that many and preformed emergency surgery. Poor Kit Kat had a really bad bacterial infection as well. One of our wonderful regular vets offered to take her home to care for her, medicate her and stabilize her. Three weeks later, Kit Kat received a clean bill of health. This extreme of an infection and the quantity of stones had to be going on for quite some time and we can not even begin to imagine how much pain she had been suffering from.
Kit Kat was living in a home with multiple cats but when she spent three weeks away for treatment, her and the resident cats did not get along. Not sure if it was because of the resident cats or Kit Kat. We do recommend her being an only cat and no small children. Kat Kat can get over stimulated and nip. If you are aware of her body language, you will know before she gets close to that point.
If you are looking for a wonderful companion and want to show her what a true forever homes is, please email us.
