Chunky Love was adopted from our rescue five years ago as a baby kitten. He was renamed Ringo by what he thought was his forever family. Sadly, two years later he was returned to our rescue because his family was moving. Ringo was unsure of what was going on because his whole world has been turned upside down.
We wanted this handsome boy to truly know what it means to be in a FOREVER home.
It made all of us get tears in our eyes when he was adopted again two years ago. We were so happy that he could be in what we believed would be his real forever home. Sadly, we just got an email on September 20, 2020 that his family is moving and they can only take two pets with them which are their dogs. Once again this poor boy is returned to our rescue.
This is what his second adoptive family said about him:
For some reason poor Ringo has not been shown what a forever home or a forever family really means.
Please only adopt this sweet, big boy if you are wanting to truly give him a forever home and not a home for just two years. We can not even imagine the sadness and rejection he must feel. Can anyone be that special person to show him that a home is not temporary and that he does not have to lose a family that he loves every two years?
UPDATE:
Ringo was adopted in 2020 but his adoptive mom wants to return him. She said he is a really great cat 99% of the time. She said just out of nowhere he will bite her and attack her. He has never shown this type of behavior so we are not sure if he just isn't happy in the home. Not everyone home is right for every cat and not every cat is right with every home. This is no fault of the cat or the adopter.

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato. Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend.
