Oliver is a brown tabby, about 11 weeks old.  He was found lying in the middle of the sidewalk, sick and skinny, just waiting for his second chance.  With a bit of love, caring, and a warm safe bed he is now a round-bellied energetic spit-fire.

He has been recuperating in a house with other adult cats (both male and female) and he wants to play with them all the time...they, on the other-hand, occasionally tolerate his antics.  After three weeks, he has surprisingly brought out some playfulness in all of his house-mates.

But his be-all and end-all best bud is a two year-old Husky-Shepherd mix.  Ollie is her little shadow...and she has been his mother hen.  With supervised play (he's still pretty tiny), Ollie has proven to be a great lover of dogs.  (Of course a lot depends on the dog's personality and tolerance of cats)

Oliver has met a few of the neighborhood kids, for gentle pets and loves, but no playtime...although I think he would be great playing with them too.  He has tons of energy and plays hard...and sleeps and snuggles equally as hard.

He has been having his toenails trimmed weekly, and while a bit squirmy still, is getting used to the "gentle"-manly pedicure required of well-behaved house kittens.  He is currently eating Royal Canin Babycat dry food (occasionally sneaking some Nutrish Adult cat food...and even a nugget or two of dog food, which he thinks makes for an excellent play toy).  He will make his new family very happy...he's waiting patiently for the purrrr-fect forever home!

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org

If you can't wait until then to meet any cat or kitten, contact catinfo@catalesrescue.org.
