Che was rescued by firefighters from storm drain when he was about 16 weeks old.  He came in with severe head trauma and was unable to walk. It appears that he was probably hit by something in the head and tossed into the drain.  After some recovery time, he is walking and playing normally.  A lot of his head trauma has healed.

Che doesn't stay still for long unless he's sleeping under a chair.  He's extremely and enthusiastically playful.  He can occasionally be petted but keeps his distance, partially because his foster mom has had to put ointment in his eyes.  He has a good appetite, seldom meows, loves to play with Fanta his foster brother but can be too exuberant with the mellow Fanta.  All in all, he's a fun guy to have around.

Che has grown tremendously in confidence.  He was unsure of humans' intentions but is now sleeping at the feet of his foster mom.  He is also coming into his foster mom's room, purring and then sleeping at the foot of her bed.
