Adoption Fees

$200 for kittens up to one year
$160 for cats over one year

All cats have been:

-  Spayed/neutered
-  FVRCP vaccinated
-  FeLV tested (FeLV/FIV for adults)
-  Dewormed
-  Flea treated
-  Microchipped

Kitze was rescued from an apartment complex along with her three kittens.  A really nice woman took her and her kittens in for several weeks and then contact our rescue for help.  When our volunteer went to the apartment to pick up Kitze and her babies, Kitze was just laying on a bed and the volunteer picked her up and put her into a carrier.  The kittens proved to be a more difficult of a task.  Once they were all pulled into rescue, they were all scared and standoffish.  We separated the four of them as we knew this would help.  Kitze and all her babies were all doing wonderfully within a week or so.  Now that Kitze is not feeling like she has to defend her babies, she has relaxed and has been so sweet.  She is able to just be her and not be "mama bear" so to say.

Kitze is a tame cat but was spayed at a clinic where they spay/neuter feral cats so she does have an ear notch.

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
