Buzz Wally Wallace

Take a look at the second picture of Buzz Wally Wallace. This is what he looked like when he was rescued last March.

His tail and legs were burned and raw from a microscopic parasite in his intestines that caused him to have severe diarrhea. The pain must have been terrible. He had no body fat whatsoever; Buzz Wally was literally skin and bones. His condition was so deteriorated, the Vet he was taken too recommended humane euthanasia.

But this kitty had a very strong will to live. We can only guess at how long he had survived in the rain and cold of winter so we thought he deserved a chance to live.

It’s taken months and A LOT of tender love and care but Buzz Wally is now ready for a family who will cherish him and appreciate the special boy that he is.

If you are curious about his name… we wanted to call him something that represented how brave he had been to not give up; the name William Wallace came to mind. But he sort of looked like a Buzz. There you have it - Buzz Wally Wallace. It’s a one of kind name for a one of a kind cat.

Buzz Wally (a.k.a. BWW) needs to remain on a diet of high quality food that can be purchased from any pet food store. He also has a play buddy, a tortie kitten named Marcie he would love to be adopted with.

The adoption fee for Buzz Wall is $60 and he has been neutered, dewormed, FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV/Heartworm tested, and flea treated.

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org

If you can't wait until then to meet any cat or kitten, contact catinfo@catalesrescue.org.
