Bing and his brother Buzby were rescued from the shelter (along with their mom and some siblings) just prior to being euthanized – literally. Bing has such great markings – his back look like a chipmunk and his tummy has that wild animal appearance.
He has adjusted well to being part of a family. He loves hanging out with you and enjoying time on your lap. He is litter box trained and hasn’t had any accidents. We do have a smaller house and have two boxes just to make sure he always knows there is one close by until he gets a little older. He gets a bit nervous around fast moving children (we have a quiet household) but do great with the kids that are gentle and take their time. When he wants to cuddle, he will find your lap. He does like to be wherever you are so he tends to follow. Careful when going outside – he will be right there!
He is very easy going and social. He is a “litter flinger”. I would definitely suggest a box with a dome type top. He is very thorough when burying his business. We have a bulldog and an adult cat that he does just great with - even though neither of them care much about him :)
Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato. Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org If you can't wait until then to meet any cat or kitten, contact catinfo@catalesrescue.org.
