Tank will be available for adoption on 10/11.

Tank (fuzzy orange boy) and his sister India (Tortie) were born while in our rescue. Their mom was a homeless cat that was trapped by our rescue in order to get her fixed. Once trapped, we realized she was pregnant and kept her safe so she could give birth weeks later. These are two of the six babies she delivered. These two will be spayed and neutered on Wednesday and available for adoption on Friday 10/11.

Tank and India are two of the calmest, easily entertained kittens I've had as fosters. They hang out together, cuddling. They often go behind the sofa or the washer but will come out as soon as you start talking to them (unless they are fast asleep). They are social and funny. I've found the evening is their snuggle time with their people. Tank likes to be on you. India likes to be next to you. They have adjusted well to being part of a family. They are litter box trained and haven't had any accidents. We do have a smaller house and have two boxes just to make sure they always know there is one close by. They do get a bit nervous around fast moving children (we have a quiet household) but do great with the kids that are gentle and take their time. Neither of them seem to have any interest in going outside so there is no need to "hurry before the cat get's out".

Both are dog exposed (we have a bulldog). They don't find the need to be her friend or her enemy. They just go about their business and so does she. We also have an adult cat they have learned to deal with (she doesn't like to share). They just keep clear.

They will be at the Petco in Fairfield (next to In-N-Out Burger) the weekend of October 12th. If you are interested in one or both of these, you are welcome to email me and I will forward an application your way.
