Rose is a Turkish Dan. Her age is not known as she showed up at my house one day. I had her chipped, spayed, and has her current shots. She has been with me for about two years. She likes people very much. Not shy to approach a stranger and want to meow and be pet although once, she did hiss at a friend of mine who has many cats, and then left. She doesn't like being around more than one or two other cats as I have seen from her reaction to my other cats. She likes my male, and one of my other females but the two other cat I have, she chases. So she would be good with a family that would have a total of three or less cats. Rose, loves to sit on your lap. She puts her paw on my chin, and looks straight into my eyes as though she is listening to what I am saying. When I have scolded her for chasing my cats she doesn't like, she flattens down and sasses me. She sounds mad but she doesn't retaliate by hitting or biting. She just talks back and growls. But I don't entice her to do anything when she flattens down I just talk to her firmly and I swear she knows I am mad at her for chasing my cats. She is smart. She likes to play with a string or cat nip. She will run up to me and touch the back of my leg like saying she want to play and then I chase her. She will run or flatten and get up and run again and flatten. This is her way of playing or going under the couch and putting her paws out to smack at my toes in a gentle manner. It is cute to watch her play. She enjoys the indoor and outdoors so she is flexible. Please consider Rose as a great addition to your home.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Adoptions are at the Petco in Fairfield, 1370 Holiday Lane, on Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. and adoptions twice a month at the Petco in Novato.

Because all of our cats are in foster homes, not all cats come to adoptions every weekend. If you are interested in a specific kitty, please contact us to make sure he/she will available for you to meet at catinfo@catalesrescue.org
